I'm starting the new year with a new series, Art Happening. This project stemmed from the
idea of wanting to make instant art relating to a story in the news.
I'm opening with a piece about Facebook's War on Nipples. Facebooks definition of
obscene now includes photos of women breastfeeding. So I wanted to make a picture of
myself made entirely of my own nipples to post as a profile picture on Facebook.

New project up! The second instalment of Art Happening. I am offering objects (shoes)
from this piece for sale on the store. Just something I am trying out to see if people want
that physical connection with a piece.

As the third installment of Art Happening was coming around I knew it had to be about
Obama. What would Art about news be without the biggest political story in decades.
Many of you submitted statements via the contribution page or responded to my e-mail
(subscribe above). I took all the hopes and dreams that were submitted and wrote them
on the canvas. It was the most laborious Art Happening project to date. I also spent some
time getting people captured on video giving their hopes and dreams to spice up the
video. Hope you enjoy.
