Teeth! Youch!

Here’s the latest project! Teeth on hockey pucks! haha.

Watch the video

This all started with walking around a sporting goods store and seeing hockey stuff. I decided I wanted to find teeth so I started calling all around and found that it’s really hard to find loose teeth. ha! Who would’ve guess! So I ended up at the craft store to buy some FIMO which is a cheap clay that can be baked in the oven. I then formed a bunch of teeth and cooked them. Then came the picture above where I added some color to them. Some red and yellows to dull them up a bit.

Here are my final teeth

Here they are stacked up on the hockey puck. Basically what I had to do was organize the teeth, take a photo, reorganize, take a photo, reorganize, take a photo. A very monotonous project. The end result was fine. I am not overly thrilled with it, but given it’s half day status it was quite satisfactory. Not sure if I will persue this sort of project again but it was fun for a bit!

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

The M-1965 Field Jacket , also known as the m65 jacket is a popular field jacket designed for the U.S. military. The m65 field jacket has been around for many years. It was introduced into US military service in 1965 to replace the M-1951 field jacket, an evolution of a Second World War design, the M-1943 field jacket. The m65 field jacket was widely used by United States troops during the Vietnam War in which the jacket became useful for troops serving in the Central Highlands of South Vietnam, as well as keeping a soldier warm from the cool weather conditions that came after monsoonal rains.
